The TGH PGY2 ID residency program aspires to produce versatile ID pharmacists who can practice in different settings of care and facilitate transitions of care. The program aims to maintain dedication to evidence-based pharmacotherapy, antimicrobial stewardship, clinical research, and quality improvement. Residents who successfully complete this residency will be well prepared for advanced patient care, academic, or other specialized positions, along with ability to become Infectious Diseases board-certified. In addition to core rotations offered at TGH, elective rotations are available in Bone Marrow Transplant ID at Moffitt Cancer Center (Tampa, FL) and Pediatric ID at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (St. Petersburg, FL).
