This new position at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center shares collaborative responsibility for the management of clinical pharmacy services in the Infectious Diseases department.  Alongside a second pharmacist in this space, the pharmacy clinician will manage patients on Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT), long-acting injectable antiretroviral therapies, and more. The pharmacist in this role will have the opportunity to teach pharmacy residents and students as well.

Credentials:
  • Pharmacist license in state of practice (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Successful completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency (Required)
  • Successful completion of a PGY2 Specialty Residency preferred; preferably in area of specialty practice they are applying for OR experience as a licensed pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy with >/= 50% of time spent in area of specialty
