Clinical Pharmacist

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is excited to be recruiting for a Clinical Pharmacist position in Adult Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship. We are a 1,000 bed academic teaching center and provide clinical coverage for the general ID, ortho ID, transplant ID, and HIV teams. In addition, to our support of the ID teams, we maintain a robust antimicrobial stewardship program (ASP) for the whole hospital and lead numerous initiatives to improve antimicrobial use.

This position will have inpatient responsibilities only. In addition to patient care and ASP activities, there are opportunities for teaching (pharmacy students, PGY1 residents, and PGY2 residents) and scholarship (research, medication use evaluations, and quality improvement projects). There are also opportunities to work closely with our 2 OPAT pharmacists, and pediatric ID pharmacist.
