UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist to lead its Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. UPMC Williamsport is a 224-bed nonprofit, acute care hospital serving north central Pennsylvania. It is part of the UPMC Health System, a 37-hospital network committed to delivering world-class care and advancing clinical excellence.
This role is responsible for daily stewardship activities and local oversight of the program, collaborating with UPMC Health System’s Antimicrobial Stewardship leadership and pharmacist network to leverage system resources and implement best practices locally. This is a full-time (40 hour work week) position, shift being 8AM – 4:30PM with no holidays or weekends.
Additional responsibilities include serving as a departmental resource, leading quality and regulatory compliance initiatives, conducting research and practice advancement projects, and providing education and mentorship to pharmacy students and residents.
